Llamas Custom Guitars
Privacy notice
Last updated: 28 October 2026
Who we are
Llamas Custom Guitars is a guitar maker based in Málaga, Spain, run personally by Ignacio Recio Llamas. Ignacio is responsible for this website and for the personal information described in this notice.
For privacy questions or requests, or to unsubscribe, email spiralmotionrecords@gmail.com.
Enquiries
When you send an enquiry through the Contact form, we receive your name, email address, message and, if you chose to include them, the woods you picked in the guitar builder. We use them only to reply to you and, if you ask, to discuss a guitar with you.
Your enquiry is emailed to spiralmotionrecords@gmail.com. It is sent by a Google Apps Script running under a Google Workspace account of Benison Group, which helps run this website, so a copy is also kept in that account’s sent mail. The website itself doesn’t store enquiries.
Launch updates
If you sign up in the “Be first to know” window, we record your email address, the date and time of your signup, the consent wording you agreed to, where you signed up (the website) and your subscription status. If you unsubscribe, we record the date you did.
We use your email address only to send you Llamas Custom Guitars launch updates. Our legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Signing up is optional: you can use the whole website without it.
Signups are saved in a Google Sheet kept in a Google Workspace shared drive belonging to Benison Group.
Unsubscribing
You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing spiralmotionrecords@gmail.com. We will then stop sending you launch updates. Withdrawing consent doesn’t affect anything that happened before you withdrew it.
Who can see your information
- Ignacio Recio Llamas, who runs Llamas Custom Guitars and receives enquiries.
- Benison Group, which helps run this website. The signup list is kept in its Google Workspace shared drive, so people Benison Group gives access to that drive can see it, and enquiries are sent from one of its accounts.
- Google (Google LLC), which provides Gmail, Google Sheets and Google Apps Script.
- Vercel (Vercel Inc.), which hosts the website and runs the small functions that pass your signup or enquiry to Google. These functions run in Frankfurt, Germany, and don’t keep or log what you type.
How long we keep it
- Launch updates. We keep your signup until you unsubscribe. After that we keep only your email address and the date you unsubscribed, so that we don’t email you again.
- Enquiries. We delete enquiry emails, including the sent copy, 2 years after our last message with you.
The rest of the website
- “Let’s talk guitars” chat. The chat runs entirely in your browser and answers from this website’s FAQ. Nothing you type in it is sent or stored.
- Guitar builder. Your wood choices are saved only in your browser (see below). They reach us only if you add them to an enquiry.
- No analytics or advertising. The website doesn’t use analytics, advertising or social media trackers, and its fonts and images are served from this website itself.
- Hosting. Like any web host, Vercel processes technical information such as your IP address and browser details in order to deliver the website and keep it secure.

International transfers
Google LLC and Vercel Inc. are based in the United States, and Google may store your information in the US and other countries. Both companies are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension, which the European Commission and the UK government recognise as providing adequate protection for personal data transferred to certified US companies. See Google’s and Vercel’s statements.
Your rights and complaints
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your information, and to receive a portable copy. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To make a request, email spiralmotionrecords@gmail.com.
